Megan E. Sorokes is an associate attorney in SNEED PLLC’s Davidson office. Licensed to practice law in North Carolina and Washington, D.C., Ms. Sorokes focuses her practice on a wide variety of intellectual property matters, including trademark and trade dress infringement and enforcement, trademark prosecution before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and litigation in federal courts.  In addition, Ms. Sorokes provides legal communications, technology support and administrative services to SNEED PLLC.

Prior to joining SNEED PLLC, Ms. Sorokes worked as an associate with Edmonds & Nolte PC in Houston, Texas. She also served as the director of communications for New York State Sen. Catharine Young of the 57th District; a writer and editor for the Olean (N.Y.) Times Herald and a senior paralegal for Wachovia. She received a Juris Doctor from SUNY Buffalo Law School and graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication from St. Bonaventure University. She is a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar, the Carolina Patent, Trademark & Copyright Law Association (CPTCLA), International Trademark Association (INTA) and Federalist Society.
